The best Meta Conversions API tool in 2026 depends on what you already run. On Shopify or WooCommerce, a managed platform such as WeTracked.io (from $49 a month) or Tracklution (free up to 5,000 events) sends purchases server-side in an afternoon. If you already have server-side GTM, Stape hosts Meta’s own CAPI Gateway for $8 a month per pixel. If you want zero vendors, Meta’s gateway runs on your AWS or GCP account for the cost of the compute. Eight options below, including the one we make, with one note up front: Convultra’s Meta forwarding is coming soon, not live, and its section says so plainly.
What a Meta CAPI tool actually has to do
Sending an event to Meta is one HTTP request. The tools exist for everything around it: capturing the fbclid parameter and the fbp cookie on the first visit and keeping them past Safari’s storage limits, hashing email, phone and name with SHA-256 in the format Meta expects, generating an event ID shared between the browser Pixel and the server event so Meta deduplicates instead of double counting, retrying when Meta returns an error, and respecting consent so events for visitors who declined never leave. Miss any one of those and the symptom is the same: Event Match Quality drifts down, Meta reports fewer purchases than your store, and optimization gets worse. Our Meta CAPI setup guide walks through the mechanics; this article is about which tool to hand them to.
How we evaluated these tools
Each option was assessed on whether Meta forwarding is live today, what you install and what you maintain afterwards, how deduplication and click ID persistence are handled, which other ad platforms ride along on the same pipeline, and pricing shape.
Disclosure: this article is published by Convultra. Convultra is included in the list and judged by the same criteria as every other tool, which in this case means noting that its Meta forwarding is coming soon. Pricing and plan limits for every tool were checked against each vendor’s live pricing page on 14 September 2026. Confirm current figures before you commit.

The 8 options, in detail
1. Stape CAPI Gateway hosting: Best if you already run server-side GTM
Stape hosts Meta’s Conversions API Gateway so you do not have to provision it on AWS yourself. Point the Pixel at the gateway endpoint and browser events are mirrored server-side with deduplication handled by the gateway. If you also use Stape for sGTM hosting (Pro $17 a month billed annually for 500,000 requests at the time of checking), the gateway sits alongside it.
Pricing: Pay as you go at $8 a month per pixel, up to 10 million events per pixel, with a 7-day free trial. Unlimited at $83 a month for up to 100 pixels.
Strengths:
- Cheapest managed Meta route in this list
- Meta’s own gateway software, so event structure and dedup match what Meta expects; scales to 100 pixels on one plan
Limitations:
- Meta only; every other platform needs the sGTM container and your tags
- The gateway mirrors what the Pixel sees, so blocked Pixels still mean missing events unless you add sGTM on a first-party domain
Best for: Technical teams already invested in Stape who want Meta covered quickly. See the Stape comparison.
2. Tracklution: Best managed pipeline with Meta live and the most connectors
Tracklution forwards conversions through its own pipeline, not a GTM container, and Meta is one of the two platforms on the free tier. Install is a script, a GTM tag, or a plug-and-play app for Shopify, WooCommerce and WordPress. Paid plans add TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Microsoft Ads, Reddit, Klaviyo, GA4 and OpenAI Ads.
Pricing: Free for up to 5,000 events a month on one site (Meta and Google Ads only). Grow at 39.20 EUR a month billed annually for 50,000 events, 0.0008 EUR per extra event. Enterprise and Agency are custom. 14-day trial, no card.
Strengths:
- Meta CAPI on the free tier
- Widest connector list of the managed tools here
Limitations:
- One website per plan until Enterprise
- Event-based billing rises with tracked events, not purchases
Best for: Small businesses that want Meta and several other platforms from one managed pipeline. See the Tracklution comparison.
3. WeTracked.io: Best for Shopify and WooCommerce stores
WeTracked.io is a first-party tracking app for Shopify, WooCommerce and a handful of funnel builders. It captures orders at the store, enriches them with customer data and forwards purchases to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, Pinterest and X from a native install the company says takes five minutes.
Pricing: Starter $49 a month for 500 orders and 3 stores, Business $149 for 3,000 orders and 5 stores, Scale-up $249 for 7,500 orders and 10 stores. 20 percent off annual. 14-day trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Strengths:
- Native store installs, no script placement to get wrong
- Meta live, with order data captured at the platform rather than the browser
Limitations:
- Per-order pricing; 600 orders a month puts you on the $149 plan
- No Microsoft Ads forwarding listed
Best for: Store owners who want Meta purchases matched today without touching a container. See the WeTracked comparison.
4. Elevar: Best for large Shopify stores
Elevar remains the deepest Shopify data layer available. The app captures checkout, subscription and post-purchase events, validates them, and forwards to Meta and 50+ other destinations depending on plan.
Pricing: Core $225 a month for 2,000 orders and up to 2 destinations (overage $0.50 an order). Advanced $650 for 10,000 orders and 4 destinations. Premium $1,250 for 30,000 orders. Elite from $3,000. 15-day free trial.
Strengths:
- Most complete Shopify event capture in the category
- Event validation catches broken data before Meta sees it
Limitations:
- Core limits you to two destinations, so Meta plus GA4 uses the allowance
- $225 a month and $0.50 overage is a lot for a smaller store
- Shopify-centric
Best for: Shopify Plus merchants at scale. See the Elevar comparison.
5. TAGGRS: Best EU-hosted sGTM route to Meta
TAGGRS hosts server-side GTM on European infrastructure. Meta goes through the Conversions API tag you configure in the container, with deduplication and hashing set up by you. Same model as Stape’s sGTM hosting, lower price, data in the EU.
Pricing: Free to 10,000 requests. Basic from 22 EUR a month on annual billing (25 EUR monthly) for 750,000 requests. Pro 57 EUR for 3,000,000. Ultimate 127 EUR for 10,000,000. Enterprise custom.
Strengths:
- Low entry price for a full sGTM container
- EU company and infrastructure
Limitations:
- Everything in the container is yours to build and maintain
- Per-request billing; no hosted CAPI Gateway equivalent
Best for: EU agencies that want sGTM and are comfortable configuring the Meta tag themselves. See the TAGGRS comparison.
6. Convultra: Best if Google Ads is your primary channel and Meta is next
Convultra is managed server-side conversion tracking. You add a script of about 10KB, a WordPress or WooCommerce plugin, or the GTM template, and the platform captures every conversion server-side, persists click IDs including fbclid, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid, ttclid and oppref, hashes personal data with SHA-256 before it is sent to any ad platform and deduplicates against existing pixels with shared event IDs. Setup takes about five minutes.
The honest part: as of September 2026, Convultra forwards conversions to Google Ads (including enhanced conversions) and OpenAI Ads, and Meta, Microsoft Ads and TikTok forwarding are coming soon. For a Meta advertiser today it captures the purchase and the fbclid reliably, shows in the recovery report how many conversions the Pixel missed (typically 30 to 40 percent), and logs every Google Ads and OpenAI Ads delivery, so the click data is in place when Meta forwarding ships. If Meta CAPI is the only job this week, one of the five tools above will serve you sooner.
Pricing: Starter $49 a month (1,000 conversions), Growth $149 (5,000), Scale $299 (15,000). Priced per conversion, not per event or request, with no overage fees. 20 percent off annual. 14-day trial of Growth. Cancel before it ends and pay nothing. See pricing.
Strengths:
- Delivery log for every forwarded conversion, so a failure is visible the same day
- Conversion-based pricing that does not move with page views
- AI Attribution on every plan, Audience Sync to Google Ads Customer Match and OpenAI Ads Custom Audiences, agency dashboard with log in as client, REST API and MCP in beta
Limitations:
- Meta conversion forwarding is coming soon; not live as of this article
- Microsoft Ads and TikTok forwarding are also coming soon
Best for: Marketer-led teams and agencies whose main spend is on Google Ads, who want one managed pipeline that will add Meta without a container. See server-side tracking.
7. Meta Conversions API Gateway (native): Best for zero vendors
Meta’s own Conversions API Gateway is a self-serve deployment from Events Manager. It runs on AWS EKS, AWS ECS Express or GCP in your cloud account, mirrors Pixel events server-side and handles deduplication automatically. Meta says no coding is needed and the only cost is the cloud resources or partner fees.
Pricing: No license fee. You pay for the cloud instance, which is typically tens of dollars a month for a small site and more as event volume grows, plus whoever keeps it running.
Strengths:
- Free software, direct from Meta
- Automatic dedup with the Pixel
Limitations:
- Meta only; Google, TikTok and Microsoft need something else
- It mirrors the Pixel, so a blocked Pixel still means a lost event unless you pair it with a first-party setup
- You own uptime, updates and cloud billing
Best for: Meta-heavy advertisers with someone comfortable in an AWS or GCP console.
8. Zapier or Make relay: Best for very low volume with no budget
Zapier and Make can both call Meta’s Conversions API from a store or CRM trigger: new Shopify order, new Stripe payment, new HubSpot deal. You map fields, hash the email in a formatter step, and send. It works, and at a few dozen orders a month it costs nothing.
Pricing: Zapier Free covers 100 tasks a month; Professional is $29.99 a month billed monthly ($19.99 annual) for 750 tasks. Make Free covers 1,000 credits a month; Core is $9 a month for 10,000 credits.
Strengths:
- Nearly free at low volume
- Works for offline and CRM conversions that never touch a browser
Limitations:
- No fbclid or fbp capture, so match quality is limited to whatever customer data the trigger carries
- No deduplication with your Pixel unless you build event ID passing yourself
- Every order is a task; 2,000 orders a month is already the $73.50 Zapier tier before retries
Best for: A side project or a B2B business closing a handful of deals a month.
How to choose
If you run server-side GTM already, host Meta’s gateway on Stape for $8 a pixel, or route Meta through your TAGGRS container if EU hosting matters.
If you run a Shopify or WooCommerce store and want Meta live this week, WeTracked.io below 3,000 orders a month, Elevar above it.
If you want one managed pipeline for several platforms and no container, Tracklution has Meta on the free tier. Convultra is the pick when Google Ads is your primary channel, you want a delivery log and conversion-based pricing, and Meta arriving soon is acceptable.
If you want no vendors at all, deploy Meta’s CAPI Gateway on your own cloud account and put a name against keeping it running.
If you have a few dozen conversions a month, a Zapier or Make relay is fine until it is not.
FAQ
What is the Meta Conversions API?
The Conversions API (CAPI) is Meta’s server-to-server endpoint for conversion events. Instead of the Meta Pixel firing from the browser, where ad blockers and Safari’s tracking prevention can stop it, your server (or a tool acting for your server) sends the purchase, lead or signup directly to Meta with hashed customer data attached. Meta recommends running the Pixel and CAPI together with a shared event ID so each conversion is counted once.
Do I need a tool to use Meta CAPI, or can I build it myself?
You can build it yourself. CAPI is a documented HTTP API, and Meta’s own Conversions API Gateway runs on your AWS or GCP account with no code. The catch is everything around the request: capturing fbclid and fbp reliably, hashing the way Meta expects, matching event IDs for deduplication, retrying failures and keeping up with API changes. That maintenance is where most home-built integrations quietly rot.
What is the cheapest way to send purchases to Meta CAPI?
If you already run server-side GTM, Stape’s Meta CAPI Gateway hosting is $8 a month per pixel. On Shopify, the native Meta channel sends server-side events at no extra cost, with less control. Tracklution’s free tier covers Meta and Google Ads for up to 5,000 events a month. A Zapier relay is nearly free at low volume but gets expensive and fragile as orders grow.
Does Convultra send conversions to Meta?
Not yet. As of September 2026, Convultra forwards conversions to Google Ads, including enhanced conversions, and to OpenAI Ads, and Meta, Microsoft Ads and TikTok forwarding are coming soon. Convultra already captures and persists fbclid on every visit, so the click data is in place for when Meta forwarding ships. If Meta CAPI is your urgent need this week, pick one of the tools with Meta live today.
How do I know my Meta CAPI events are being counted?
Open Events Manager, choose your pixel and look at the Overview tab. Each event shows a Connection Method (Browser, Server, or both) and an Event Match Quality score out of 10. If server events arrive with the same event ID as browser events, Meta reports them as deduplicated. A tool with a delivery log makes this easier, because you can trace one purchase from your site to Meta’s acknowledgment.
Next step
If Google Ads is where most of your budget goes and Meta is next, Convultra gives you one managed pipeline for both: Google Ads forwarding with enhanced conversions and OpenAI Ads forwarding today, Meta forwarding coming soon, a delivery log for every event and no container to maintain. Setup takes about five minutes and the trial is 14 days of Growth. Cancel before it ends and pay nothing.
