The best Shopify conversion tracking app in 2026 is the one that matches your order volume and the platforms you spend on. Below roughly 3,000 orders a month, WeTracked.io (from $49) and Littledata (from $0.35 an order) deliver Meta, Google Ads and TikTok purchases server-side from a native install. Above that, Elevar has the deepest Shopify data layer at $225 and up. Triple Whale is attribution rather than delivery, Stape is server-side GTM you configure yourself, and Convultra is a managed platform that installs as a script today, with a Shopify app coming soon.
Why Shopify stores need a conversion tracking app at all
Shopify’s native Google and Meta channels send purchases, and for a store spending a few hundred dollars a month on ads that is fine. The problem starts when spend gets serious. Safari expires the click ID cookie within seven days, so a customer who clicked a Google ad on Monday and bought the following Wednesday arrives with no gclid attached. Ad blockers stop the Pixel firing on a meaningful share of visits, and consent banners suppress tags for visitors who decline. The result is 30 to 40 percent of purchases the ad platforms never see, so Meta and Google optimize toward the wrong customers and your reported ROAS is fiction.
A conversion tracking app captures the order at the server, attaches the click ID it stored on the first visit, hashes the customer’s email and phone, and sends the purchase to each platform with a shared event ID so nothing is counted twice. Our Shopify server-side tracking guide explains the mechanics; this article is about which app to hand the job to.
How we evaluated these apps
Each app was assessed on how it installs on Shopify (native app, script, or a container you build), which ad platforms receive purchases today, how click IDs and deduplication are handled, what the app shows you when a delivery fails, and how the price moves with order volume.
Disclosure: this article is published by Convultra. Convultra is included in the list and judged by the same criteria as every other app, including the fact that its Shopify app is coming soon and its Meta forwarding is coming soon. Pricing and plan limits for every tool were checked against each vendor’s live pricing page on 14 September 2026. Triple Whale’s pricing page could not be loaded on that date, so its figures are from the vendor’s published pricing as last checked. Confirm before you buy.

The 7 apps, in detail
1. Elevar: Best for Shopify Plus stores with complex funnels
Elevar built its reputation as the most thorough Shopify data layer available. The app captures every funnel event, including checkout steps, subscriptions and post-purchase upsells, validates each one, and forwards to Meta, GA4 and 50+ other destinations depending on plan.
Pricing: Core $225 a month for 2,000 orders and up to 2 destinations, overage $0.50 an order. Advanced $650 for 10,000 orders and 4 destinations, overage $0.15. Premium $1,250 for 30,000 orders and 10 destinations. Elite from $3,000 for 75,000 orders. 15-day free trial.
Strengths:
- Most complete Shopify event capture in the category
- Validation tooling that surfaces broken or missing events
Limitations:
- Core’s two-destination cap means Meta plus GA4 uses the whole allowance
- $0.50 per overage order on Core is the highest here
Best for: Shopify Plus merchants at volume who want every funnel event captured and checked. See the Elevar comparison.
2. WeTracked.io: Best value for small and mid-size stores on Meta and TikTok
WeTracked.io is a first-party tracking app for Shopify and WooCommerce. It captures orders at the store, enriches them with customer data, and forwards purchases to Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, Snapchat, Pinterest and X from a native install the company says takes five minutes.
Pricing: Starter $49 a month for 500 orders across up to 3 stores, Business $149 for 3,000 orders and 5 stores, Scale-up $249 for 7,500 orders and 10 stores. Enterprise custom. Annual saves 20 percent. 14-day trial and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
Strengths:
- Native install, Meta and TikTok live
- Multi-store allowance on every plan
Limitations:
- Per-order pricing: 600 orders a month means the $149 plan
- No Microsoft Ads forwarding listed
Best for: Stores under 3,000 orders a month spending mostly on Meta and TikTok. See the WeTracked comparison.
3. Littledata: Best for stores that want GA4 and ad platforms from one app
Littledata started as the fix for Shopify’s GA4 data and has grown into a server-side connector for Meta, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Pinterest, TikTok, Klaviyo, Attentive and Recharge, which makes it a common pick for subscription stores. Every plan sends the same destinations; the difference is metering.
Pricing: At the time of checking, Flex is pay as you go from $0.35 an order with no monthly minimum. Scale is $159 a month for 1,500 orders, overage from $0.15 an order. Plus is $792 a month for 10,000 orders, overage from $0.03. 30-day free trial on every plan.
Strengths:
- Flex plan is the cheapest way to start below a few hundred orders
- Microsoft Ads and Recharge included, which most rivals skip
Limitations:
- Per-order metering on every plan; Scale gets expensive past 2,000 orders
- No conversion-level delivery log to trace an individual order
Best for: Stores that want GA4 fixed and ad platforms fed from the same app, and subscription stores on Recharge.
4. Analyzify: Best for stores that want GA4, pixels and GTM containers bundled
Analyzify is a Shopify app that combines a unified pixel for ten or more platforms, GA4 setup, purchase attribution and pre-built GTM containers in one install. Server-side tracking runs through Google Tag Manager, and yearly plans include a professional implementation.
Pricing: At the time of checking, Standard is $109 a month (or $1,305 a year with implementation included) for stores up to roughly 5,000 to 20,000 monthly orders. Plus $206 a month (or $2,475 a year) adds a marketing analytics dashboard and campaign intelligence. Server-side GTM on Stape is a one-off $1,490 add-on; on Google Cloud it is $2,790.
Strengths:
- Order volume allowance is generous compared with per-order rivals
- Implementation included on yearly plans
Limitations:
- Server-side GTM is a four-figure add-on, not part of the subscription
- GTM-based, so the container is still yours once implemented
Best for: Stores that want GA4 and pixels set up properly by someone else and are happy to own a GTM container afterwards.
5. Triple Whale: Best for attribution and reporting across channels
Triple Whale is an ecommerce attribution and reporting suite. Its Triple Pixel captures first-party journey data, and the dashboards blend ad spend, orders and margin with multi-touch attribution. It is bought alongside a delivery tool rather than instead of one: its strength is telling you what worked, not feeding the ad platforms.
Pricing: Priced by trailing 12-month GMV with Foundation, Automate and Enterprise packages and a free Founders Dash tier. We could not load the live pricing page on 14 September 2026; published pricing as last checked scales with revenue from a low-hundreds monthly entry point for the smallest stores, so check the slider on the vendor’s page for your GMV.
Strengths:
- Best-in-list reporting: blended ROAS, cohorts, creative analysis
- Free tier for early-stage stores
Limitations:
- Not a conversions API delivery pipeline; you still need something sending purchases to Meta and Google
- Pricing rises with GMV, not with what you use
Best for: Stores that already have delivery handled and want a reporting layer across channels.
6. Stape: Best for technical teams that want server-side GTM on Shopify
Stape hosts server-side Google Tag Manager containers and is the most popular way to run sGTM on Shopify. You build the client, tags and dedup rules; Stape provides the hosting, a custom loader to reduce blocking, and Meta CAPI Gateway hosting. It is infrastructure, and it rewards a team that knows what to do with it.
Pricing: Free for up to 10,000 requests. Pro $17 a month for 500,000 requests, Business $83 for 5,000,000, Enterprise $167 for 20,000,000. Annual saves 20 percent. Meta CAPI Gateway hosting from $8 a month per pixel.
Strengths:
- Complete control of every tag, transformation and endpoint
- Cheapest subscription in this list for the request volume
Limitations:
- Configuration, dedup, click ID persistence and maintenance are all your job
- Billed per request, so page views drive the bill, not orders
Best for: Stores with a tagging specialist or an agency that runs sGTM for a living. See the Stape comparison.
7. Convultra: Best for Google Ads-led stores that want a delivery log and flat pricing
Convultra is managed server-side conversion tracking that works on any Shopify store through a script tag of about 10KB; a dedicated Shopify app is coming soon. It captures purchases server-side, persists gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid, ttclid and oppref past Safari’s cookie limits, hashes customer data with SHA-256 before it is sent to any ad platform and deduplicates against your existing pixels using shared event IDs. Setup takes about five minutes. The recovery report then shows how many purchases your pixels were missing, and the delivery log shows every conversion sent to Google Ads or OpenAI Ads with the platform’s response.
Where it differs from the store-native apps is scope: every plan includes AI Attribution, so orders from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot referrals show as their own source instead of direct, ad spend syncs from Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and OpenAI Ads for blended ROAS, Audience Sync builds Google Ads Customer Match and OpenAI Ads Custom Audiences from conversion rules, and pricing is per conversion rather than per order or per request.
Pricing: Starter $49 a month for 1,000 conversions and 1 project, Growth $149 for 5,000 conversions and 3 projects, Scale $299 for 15,000 conversions and 10 projects. No overage fees; over the limit two months running moves you up a plan with seven days notice. Annual saves 20 percent. 14-day trial of Growth. Cancel before it ends and pay nothing. See pricing.
Strengths:
- Delivery log and recovery report you can inspect order by order
- AI Attribution included on every plan
- Agency dashboard with log in as client, from $39 per client a month
Limitations:
- Shopify app is coming soon; today you add the script tag in your theme
- Meta, Microsoft Ads and TikTok conversion forwarding are coming soon; Google Ads forwarding with enhanced conversions and OpenAI Ads forwarding are live
- No checkout-step event validation of the kind Elevar offers
Best for: Shopify stores whose main spend is Google Ads, who want to see every delivery and pay a flat price, and who are fine adding Meta when it ships. See server-side tracking.
How to choose
If you spend mostly on Meta and TikTok and do under 3,000 orders a month, WeTracked.io. Littledata’s Flex plan wins below a few hundred orders or if you also need GA4 and Recharge.
If you are on Shopify Plus with a complex funnel, Elevar. Budget for $225 and up and watch the two-destination cap on Core.
If your main channel is Google Ads, Convultra gives you Google Ads forwarding with enhanced conversions, OpenAI Ads forwarding, a delivery log and AI Attribution from $49, with Meta forwarding to follow. Install the script now; move to the app when it ships.
If you want reporting more than delivery, Triple Whale, alongside one of the delivery apps above.
If you have someone who runs GTM for a living, Stape or Analyzify’s implemented containers. Price the hours as part of the cost.
FAQ
Does Shopify track conversions on its own?
Shopify’s native Google and Meta channels send purchase events, and its customer events (web pixels) let you fire tags from the checkout. For a small store that is often enough. The gaps appear when you want the click ID matched to the order after Safari has expired the cookie, deduplication you can inspect, Microsoft or TikTok covered the same way, or a record of which purchases actually reached each platform. That is what a dedicated app adds.
What is the best Shopify conversion tracking app for a small store?
Below about 500 orders a month, WeTracked.io at $49 covers Meta, Google Ads and TikTok with a native install, and Littledata’s Flex plan at $0.35 an order costs under $100 for the same volume with GA4 included. Convultra’s Starter plan at $49 covers 1,000 conversions and includes AI Attribution and a delivery log, with Google Ads and OpenAI Ads forwarding live and Meta coming soon; install is the script tag today because the Shopify app is coming soon.
Do I need server-side tracking on Shopify?
If you spend meaningfully on paid ads, yes. Client-side pixels miss 30 to 40 percent of conversions to ad blockers, Safari tracking prevention and consent choices, which means Meta and Google optimize on incomplete data and your reported ROAS is wrong. Server-side delivery with persisted click IDs recovers most of that gap; Convultra sees about a 98 percent match rate on the conversions it captures.
Can I run two conversion tracking apps on Shopify at once?
Yes, and it is the right way to evaluate one. Keep your existing pixels and channels live, install the candidate, and let both report for two weeks. Any app worth using deduplicates against existing events with a shared event ID, so each purchase is counted once. Compare platform-reported purchases with Shopify’s order count at the end.
How much does Shopify conversion tracking cost?
Entry pricing runs from $49 a month (WeTracked.io, Convultra) through $109 (Analyzify) and $159 (Littledata Scale) to $225 (Elevar Core). Triple Whale prices by trailing 12-month GMV. Stape’s server-side GTM hosting is $17 a month but you build the container. Watch the metering: per-order plans climb with sales, per-conversion plans such as Convultra’s stay flat until you change tier, and none of that includes the hours someone spends maintaining a container.
Next step
If Google Ads is where your Shopify budget goes, add the Convultra script to your theme and let it run beside your existing channels for two weeks. The recovery report shows the gap, the delivery log shows every purchase that reached Google, and the trial is 14 days of Growth. Cancel before it ends and pay nothing.
