Connect Google Search Console (GSC) to see which search queries bring people to your site, how your pages rank, and, next to Convultra’s conversion data, which queries lead to revenue rather than just traffic. The connection is read-only: Convultra reads data and changes nothing in Search Console.

Requirements

RequirementDetails
Verified propertyThe site must be verified in Search Console. Unverified properties do not appear in the selection step.
Google account accessOwner, Full or Restricted user on the property.
A Convultra projectAny active project.

Setup

1. Go to Integrations

Open Integrations, find the Google Search Console card and click Connect.

2. Sign in with Google

A Google sign-in window opens. Sign in with the account that has access to the property. This can be the same account you used for Google Ads. Convultra asks for two permissions:

  • Search Console, read-only (webmasters.readonly), to read your search data
  • Basic profile, so the dashboard can show which Google account is connected

Tokens are stored encrypted and refresh automatically.

3. Select the property

Convultra lists the properties your account can reach. Both domain properties (sc-domain:example.com) and URL-prefix properties (https://www.example.com/) are supported. If your site is reachable on both http and https, or with and without www, choose the domain property, which covers every variation.

4. Done

Once connected, nothing else needs configuring. Convultra fetches the data from Search Console when you open the Organic search page, for the date range you have selected.

What you get

MetricDescription
Search queriesThe terms people searched to find your site
ClicksClick-throughs from search results
ImpressionsTimes your site appeared in results
CTRClicks divided by impressions
Average positionYour average ranking for each query

Breakdowns are by query, by landing page and by day.

Where to see it

Open Organic search in the sidebar. The Organic search page shows clicks and click-through rate over time, brand versus non-brand queries, impressions without clicks, and the queries and landing pages tables, with the same date range control as the rest of the dashboard. Landing pages also carry Convultra’s own conversions and revenue.

The 3-day delay

Search Console data arrives about 3 days late. This is a Google limit and applies to every tool that uses the Search Console API. The most recent data you see is roughly 3 days old, and Google may revise recent days as it finishes processing. For same-day figures, use the Sources page instead.

Property access

Convultra can only reach properties the signed-in account can see. If a property is missing:

  1. Check it exists in Google Search Console.
  2. Confirm the account has Owner, Full or Restricted access.
  3. A newly added property can take a few minutes to appear.

To connect a different property, disconnect and reconnect with the right Google account. If you add a property later, come back to Integrations to connect it.

Troubleshooting

ProblemWhat to do
No properties in the dropdownThe signed-in account needs access to at least one verified property.
Property not shownVerify it in Search Console first.
No data in the dashboardOpen the Organic search page and widen the date range past the 3-day delay. If it is still empty, disconnect and reconnect.
Data is 3 or more days oldExpected. See the delay above.
OAuth token errorsDisconnect and reconnect. Revoking access in your Google account breaks the connection.
Recent days look incompleteGoogle updates recent dates over several days. Normal.
